津巴布韦共和国位于非洲东南部内陆。面积39.07万平方千米。人口1040万，多为班图语系的马绍纳族和恩
德贝莱族。官方语言为英语。首都哈拉雷。地形以内陆高原大台地为主。依高差可分为三大区域，中部较
高，边缘略低，东部边境地势崎岖。有赞比西河、林波波河等众多河流。属热带草原气候。有煤、铁、金、铬、锂、铜、镁、石棉等多种矿藏，水力资源富足。经济较发达，工业有采矿、冶金、炼油、制糖、电
力、纺织等部门。农业盛产玉米、小麦等多种粮食作物，有南部非洲的“粮仓”之称。烟叶、棉花、花生、水果也有很高产量，畜牧业养牛较多。有莫西奥图尼亚大瀑布（维多利亚瀑布）、津巴布韦遗址等名胜。 |
